Playgroup Compatibility Evaluation

• For the safety of your pet and other dogs at Petz Prefurred, we closely screen all dogs before they’re allowed to join our playgroups. It is also important that the staff have time to build a relationship with your dog, so they can create the best, most enjoyable, and safest group possible. Therefore, before attending daycare or daycare sleepovers, all dogs must first participate in our Playgroup Compatibility Evaluation (PCE).

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

• Daycare is by reservation only. In order to reserve your dog’s daycare day, a credit card is required on file or a daycare package purchased. A 24-hour notice is required for daycare cancellations. Under 24-hours, the daycare day will still be charged or a day taken from your existing package.

Luxury Suite Sleepover

Our luxury suites provide a quieter environment similar to a bedroom at home—complete with a raised toddler-sized bed, tv, and semi-private connected play area for a more exclusive experience. Dedicated caretakers will provide exceptional attention based on your needs.

• Fully dressed comfortable bed and any extra matting needed for multiple dogs in a Suite or seniors that need more padding
• Movie playing on private TV to provide a nice background noise and art on the wall to provide a more homelike feel
• High quality adult dry food or feeding of guests’ food based on their specific instructions
• Owners are invited to bring any belongings they feel will make their pet more comfortable, including a bed

Concierge Sleepover

Includes the above with the addition of two special activities in the suite playroom as determined by staff. Examples include:

• small group play with other appropriate suite guests
• two hours in large group daycare if they are already approved and it’s an activity they enjoy
• group hangout/cuddles for senior dogs, laid back dogs, etc. that would enjoy just lounging with staff and getting extra snuggles in the suite playroom
• one-on-one fetch/play session in suite playroom

Drop-off and Pick-up Times

• Drop-off on the day of arrival is after 12:00pm*
  *If an earlier drop-off time is needed, the room will need to be reserved for your pet the night before. However, owners are welcome to call the morning of their drop off to see if we have rooms available before 12pm. If so, we are more than happy to accept your pet earlier at no charge. Early drop off is only guaranteed if the room is paid for the previous night.
• Pick-up on departure day is by 11:00am. Pick-up after 11 am (with a bath after 12 pm) can be extended to 2 pm for $21(half day of daycare price) and 11am-closing for $37 (full day of daycare price).
• Same day drop-off and pick-up may be available at the full room overnight rate

Boarding Policies

Reservations, Cancellations and Long-Term Boarding Requirements

• Reservations are required for all overnight stays and daycare
• Reservations can be made by either providing a credit card to keep on file or paying a one-night deposit at the time the reservation is made. Deposits are refunded only if the reservation is canceled within the time periods listed below. 
• Payment is due prior to the departure of our canine guests.
• Non-Peak Times: Reservations not canceled within 2 days of the arrival date during non-peak times will incur a cancellation fee equal to a one-night stay or loss of the prepaid deposit.
• Peak Times: Reservations not canceled within 4 days of the arrival date during the peak times listed below will incur a cancellation fee equal to a one-night stay or loss of prepaid deposit. Reservations not canceled within 4 days of the arrival date during the “3-night minimum charge” peak times will incur a cancellation fee equal to ½ of the overnight charges for the original reservation (or 3-nights, whichever is less). Cancellations for peak times must be done via phone. 
• Daycare-only reservations must be canceled at least the day before. A $37 daycare day fee will be charged to the card on file or a day will be taken from the client’s daycare package if adequate notice is not provided.
• Long-Term Boarding Payment Requirement: If a pet is staying for more than 7 nights, payment for the first 5 nights is required to hold the reservation. The credit card will then be run after every 5 nights for accumulated charges.

Discounts for Longer Stays

• Stays of 6 nights or more will automatically receive a 5% discount off overnight charges and 50% off baths.
• Stays of 11 nights or more will automatically receive a 10% discount off overnight charges and 50% off baths

Pawticure

Pamper your pooch with special paw treatments that will leave them feeling fresh and strutting with confidence. We provide nail clipping, filed smooth, clipping pad fur and paw balm treatments to moisturize and heal damaged pads.

• Nail Trim: $15
• Ear Cleaning: $5
• Teeth Cleaning: $5
• Specialty Shampoo & Conditioner: $10 add-on

Partial Groom

For long hair and double-coated dogs that need a cut but do not want to take length off the body, we offer a partial groom, including: Bathe, brush, dry, natural body trim, trim around ears, face and feet, nail clip, trim around pads, as well as hygiene trim.

• Large Dogs (41-64lbs): $70 – $85+
• Xtra Large Dogs (65lbs+): $80 – $95

Full Groom

For full dog cuts, we include: Bathe, brush, dry, full body and face haircut, hygiene trim, nail clip, and trim around pads.

• Large Dogs (41-64lbs): $85 – $100+
• Xtra Large Dogs (65lbs+): $95 – $115

Grooming Schedule

Regular grooming for your furry friend will help maintain their health and hygiene, prevent infections, promote a healthy coat, reduce shedding and aids in early detection of potential health issues.

 8 – 12 Weeks

These breeds should be professionally groomed every 8-12 weeks. At home, they should be brushed at least once per week.

Short-Haired Breeds

Breeds with short hair are bathed as needed, but ideally get their nails trimmed and ears cleaned once a month.
